FT: Tottenham 0-0 Man Utd
Spurs boss Martin Ho said he was proud of his players, despite failing to turn their superiority into points.
Speaking after the game he said: “I feel really proud of the group, we put in a really
good shift.
“The players went in with a lot of confidence and belief. We
had a really good mindset and mentality. We are just frustrated we didn’t win.
We were by far the better team.”
Spurs enjoyed nearly 60% of possession across the 90 minutes and Ho added: “We had possession with a lot of purpose. We had numerous
chances. We did really well, we just wanted one to get over the line.
“It’s huge, they are a world class team, they have shown the
calibre they have, I know we can compete with them on our day.
“I couldn’t have asked more, (the players) gave me everything.”
Tottenham are two points shy of their best ever WSL return with two games to come and Ho added: “We need to go and really push these next two games and show a little
more ruthless edge.”
