Dunfermline Athletic manager Neil Lennon tells BBC Scotland: “It’s hard to put into words. This is something pretty special for me, obviously coming up against Celtic and Martin [O’Neill] as well.
“To take Dunfermline from where we’ve been 12 months ago to a cup final, a fantastic group of young players, I’m really proud of what we’ve done.
“We’re not here just to play a cup final, we’re here to win. I know they’re talented. When it comes to the big games against better opposition, they play the big games pretty well so I’m hoping for more of the same.”
On Celtic manager O’Neill, Lennon said: “He’s one of the greatest British managers in the last 40 years.
“What he’s done for me is immeasurable, whether it be as a player or manager. He changed my life. He taught me the game, he taught me how to win.
“He’s managing against a mirror of himself today.”
