Each of this season’s eight-man field faced the media at St James’ Park with the trophy on the table in front of them.
Well, everyone but Clayton.
He was the last of the eight players to talk to us, by which point, the trophy had been taken elsewhere.
‘The Ferret’ is now just two wins away from making sure he not only gets his hands on the trophy for a second time, but also keeps it.
